Capalaba Pool Builder — Our Backyard, Our Showroom, Your Build
Capalaba is where Wahoo lives. Our showroom is at Unit 3, 73-75 Steel Street — walk-ins welcome Mon–Fri, 8am–4:30pm. If you're a Capalaba local, your build is literally happening down the road, and Mike can pop by your site after work for unscheduled progress checks.
Capalaba blocks tend to be classic suburban-family size (600–800m²), mostly flat or gently sloping, on sandy loam over clay. Side access is usually decent (Capalaba was planned with proper side setbacks), and Redland City Council approvals are quick — we know every officer by name and they know our submissions.
The neighbourhood is family-heavy, so the most-built pools are Family-sized rectangulars (6×4, 7×4) and Entertainer designs with attached spa. Bayside is close enough that some Capalaba builds still benefit from marine-grade equipment housing, but it's not standard — we'll advise during the site visit.

Wide vs lap — choosing the right configuration
The 7×4 and 8×4 wide configurations support generous family use with room for hydrotherapy benches, full-length steps, and integrated entertaining surrounds. The 8×3 and 9×3 lap-style configurations suit fitness-focused builds where genuine length matters. Approximately one-third of entertainer-package clients add the integrated 2×2 spa.
Integrated landscape and decking
Wahoo's QBCC structural landscaping licence allows us to integrate poolside decking, paving, and surrounding landscape work under one Wahoo contract — the boundary disputes and warranty gaps that mar many entertainer-pool builds simply don't arise. Discussed at the design stage of every entertainer-package quote.
