Springfield Lakes Pool Builder — Master-Planned, BC-Compliant, Done Properly
Springfield Lakes is the master-planned heart of Brisbane's western growth corridor — modern family homes, walking trails, the lake at the centre, and pretty strict architectural review committees overseeing the look of the whole estate. Most Springfield Lakes pool builds run through dual approval: Ipswich City Council statutory + the estate's Body Corporate architectural review.
The good news: BC processes here are usually faster and less fussy than North Lakes, and Ipswich Council approval fees are generally lower than Brisbane City. The challenge: blocks are smaller than the SEQ average (400–700m²), so pool size and placement need careful design to maintain useful yard.
Soil is mostly clay, often with fill on graded sites. Side access varies a lot — some streets have very tight side gates. We use compact excavators on most Springfield Lakes builds.

Family I 6×4 is the single most-installed Wahoo package across our 20 years of building — the proportions work for the largest range of standard suburban blocks. Family II 7×3 is the lap-style alternative for clients who prioritise swim length over width. Standard 6×3 is our entry-tier family option for slightly smaller blocks or budgets.
Spa upgrade decision
Family I and Family II both support the integrated 2×2 spa upgrade ($11,890), bringing the package to $56,790. Roughly one-third of family-package clients add the spa — it lifts the build from a summer-pool into a year-round outdoor living asset, particularly valuable for clients who entertain or want hydrotherapy access. Standard 6×3 does not include the spa option due to design proportions.
