Wahoo Pool & Landscape Construction — Our New Website Is Live

After 20+ years operating across Brisbane and the bay, we're delighted to officially launch our online presence at wahoopoolconstruction.com.au.

For two decades, our business has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, referrals from happy clients, and people stopping by our office at 73-75 Steel Street in Capalaba. We've never advertised aggressively, never relied on slick marketing, never had a real online catalogue of what we do.

That's changing today — not because the old way wasn't working (it was, and we're grateful for every referral that built this business) — but because clients have been asking for a clearer way to see our packages, understand pricing, and start a conversation online.

What's on the new site

A few key things we've put together based on what clients actually want to know upfront:

• Pool packages with real prices. 12 standard packages from our $35,900 Plunge to our $74,690 Grand. Real numbers, not 'price on application'.
• Detailed inclusions for each package. What's in, what's not, what optional upgrades cost.
• The build process explained. Site visit to handover, week by week, what to expect.
• Council & compliance information. How approvals work across the seven SEQ councils we build in.
• Service area pages. Suburb-specific information for 15+ Brisbane areas where we build regularly.
• Our 20+ year story. Who we are, how we started, why we do this.
• Site assessment deposit. A simple $500 refundable booking step for clients ready to start.

What we won't do online

Just as importantly, here's what the website isn't:

• We won't be running aggressive remarketing, retargeting ads, or pushy sales funnels.
• We won't share your information with anyone you don't expressly ask us to.
• We won't automate the human parts of our process. Mike still does every site visit. Cathy still answers every enquiry personally during business hours.

The website is a way to start the conversation more efficiently. The conversation itself is still human, and that's how we like it.

The team behind the site

Just so you know who you're dealing with:

• Mike Dillon — Project Manager and Owner. Licensed in Building, Pool Construction, and Structural Landscaping. He's the one walking your block and writing your quote.
• Cathy Dillon — Co-Owner. Runs the office, handles enquiries, project communication, design and finish consultations.
• Travis — Licensed in Pool Construction and our water chemistry expert. He's at handover for every build.
• Lachy — Junior Builder. Assists on builds, learning the ropes the way Mike learned them 20 years ago.

Four people. Same crew that built every Wahoo pool. No call centre, no offshore admin, no anonymous online chat.

What QBCC 15247996 means

Our QBCC licence has been on every quote and contract for years, but worth highlighting again. You can verify us at qbcc.qld.gov.au with that number. Type it in, see our licence class, see our disciplinary history (clean), see our directors.

This is the single most important check anyone can do before signing with any pool builder in QLD.
