    On-site assessment. We walk the block, check soil and access, photograph features, answer your questions. Suburban: 30–45 min. Acreage: 90 min–2 hr.

    Itemised written quote delivered — pool package, excavation, fencing, council fees, electrical. Actual figures, no \"from\" pricing.

  • After day 7

    Decision is yours. Proceed → deposit credited against final invoice. Don't proceed → full refund within 7 business days.

    Block measurement and pool position planning. Excavation feasibility: truck access, side-gate clearance, crane requirements.

  • Soil & services

    Soil and ground condition initial assessment (test-bores where indicated). Services check: sewer, water, electrical mains, gas.

    Council overlay identification: heritage, vegetation, flood, bushfire, coastal, character. Build timeline aligned with your seasonal preferences.

WHY CHARGE A RESERVATION DEPOSIT?

Honest answer: we run a small, busy team

Our project manager Mike personally attends every site assessment, and our build calendar is booked 8–12 weeks ahead during peak seasons. Without a reservation deposit, our calendar fills with non-genuine enquiries and serious clients miss their preferred build window.

This requirement helps qualify serious enquiries and ensures build slots are reserved for clients who are genuinely considering proceeding. It allows us to manage demand effectively and allocate resources to projects with a higher likelihood of moving forward.

AFTER YOU DECIDE TO PROCEED

How it works once you accept the quote

If you accept the quote and proceed with a Wahoo build:

• You'll receive a build contract for review (Master Builders Contract- QLD format).
• The council application is lodged within one week of contract signing.
• Construction commences in accordance with the agreed schedule (typically 6–8 weeks after contract execution during spring/summer, and 4–6 weeks during off-peak periods).
• Your project is then managed through to completion in line with the agreed scope and timeline.

Frequently asked questions about the deposit

What if I have multiple properties or am unsure which to build at?

The deposit covers one site assessment. For multiple properties, we coordinate timing — typically one assessment per visit with you nominating the priority address. Additional sites can be assessed by separate deposit if needed.

What if my build site is outside SEQ?

See our Service Areas for our 7-council coverage. If your property is outside the standard footprint, contact us before processing the deposit so we can confirm whether your build is right for our team.

What if I just want a casual chat first?

Can my partner or co-owner pay this later?

Yes — the deposit can be paid by anyone listed on the property title. For council application, you'll just need to confirm consent from all property owners before lodgement.
