5. Insurance and warranty schemes

We maintain the following insurance and warranty arrangements:

  • Public Liability Insurance with cover above the QBCC minimum requirement;
  • Workers' Compensation Insurance via WorkCover Queensland for all employees and registered subcontractors;
  • Home Warranty Insurance lodged with the QBCC under the QBCC Insurance Scheme for residential building work above the relevant threshold;
  • 10-year structural warranty on every pool shell we build (see Warranty & After-Care).

Certificates of currency for our insurance can be provided in writing on request before contract signing.

7. Equipment authorisation

Wahoo is an authorised Zodiac Titanium Dealer — the highest dealer tier offered by Zodiac in Australia. This authorisation enables us to offer extended warranties and priority service calls on all Zodiac pool equipment installed in Wahoo builds.

8. Engineering sign-off

Every Wahoo pool has its steel reinforcement inspected and signed off by an independent aquatic engineer before any concrete is sprayed. This is a Wahoo standard of practice that exceeds the minimum requirements set by Queensland councils. The engineer's sign-off is provided in writing and forms part of the documentation pack delivered to clients at handover.

9. Council approvals

Wahoo lodges development applications and manages the council approval process on behalf of our clients for residential pool builds across the South-East Queensland councils listed in our Compliance & Licensing page.

10. Disputes and complaints

If you have a concern about our services, building work, or business conduct, we encourage you to contact us directly first — most concerns are resolved within 7 days. If we cannot resolve a matter directly, you may escalate to the relevant authority:
