Daisy Hill sits right against Karawatha Forest — it's one of the most bushland-character suburbs in Logan. Blocks tend to be larger (600–900m²), often gently sloping, with mature gum trees and a real backyard feel. The two factors that shape Daisy Hill pool builds: bushfire overlay (applies to many properties this close to the forest) and the slope on a good chunk of sites.
Bushfire overlay isn't a deal-breaker — it just means we use BAL-rated materials for the pool fence and any nearby structures, and we plan defensible space around equipment housing. We've done dozens of these and the cost premium is usually $1,200–$2,500 depending on BAL rating.
Soil is mostly reactive clay with occasional sandstone outcrops. Logan City Council approvals run 3–4 weeks (slightly longer than Brisbane City because their pool-build queue is larger), but they're fair and consistent.

Family I 6×4 is the single most-installed Wahoo package across our 20 years of building — the proportions work for the largest range of standard suburban blocks. Family II 7×3 is the lap-style alternative for clients who prioritise swim length over width. Standard 6×3 is our entry-tier family option for slightly smaller blocks or budgets.
Spa upgrade decision
Family I and Family II both support the integrated 2×2 spa upgrade ($11,890), bringing the package to $56,790. Roughly one-third of family-package clients add the spa — it lifts the build from a summer-pool into a year-round outdoor living asset, particularly valuable for clients who entertain or want hydrotherapy access. Standard 6×3 does not include the spa option due to design proportions.
