North Lakes Pool Builder — Master-Planned Living, Body Corporate Builds Done Right
North Lakes is one of Queensland's largest master-planned communities — modern family homes on 400–700m² blocks, lake systems running through the development, and body corporate design covenants that govern just about everything visible from the street. Most North Lakes pool builds have two paperwork tracks running in parallel: Moreton Bay Council approval (statutory) and Body Corporate Architectural Review approval (covenant).
The body corporate piece is where most builders get tripped up. The estate has specific rules about pool fencing colour, equipment housing visibility, paving styles, and which finishes are approved. We've built enough pools across North Lakes' estates that we know each body corporate's quirks — some are strict, some are easygoing.
Soil is mostly sandy with some clay pockets (master-planned developments were levelled and graded). Side access varies a lot — newer infill blocks can be very tight.

Plunge and courtyard pools by Wahoo — designed for compact blocks, inner-city lots, and townhouse rear yards across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.
Wahoo's plunge pool packages are the right choice when block size, inner-city access, or townhouse geometry constrains the build. Both packages are full Wahoo specification — not stripped-back "cheap pools." They are complete Wahoo builds at smaller proportions, with the same standard inclusions as our larger packages.

Plunge & Courtyard Pools work best on blocks 300–500m² — inner-city character cottages, modern townhouse rear yards, courtyard infill blocks, and constrained heritage-overlay sites where larger pool packages don't physically fit.

Where these pools fit best
Plunge pools work especially well in Brisbane's inner-east (Bulimba, Bardon, Camp Hill), inner-Redland small blocks, and Gold Coast canal townhouse properties. Most plunge pool builds in our service area can be excavated through standard side-gate access. For genuinely narrow inner-city blocks, our crane-and-skid access method handles excavation where a truck won't fit — the 5×3 size makes this practical.
Customisation and limitations
Both plunge pool packages can be customised with steps, hydrotherapy benches, and integrated heating. Spa upgrades are not available on the smallest two packages — for an integrated 2×2 spa, see our Family Pools or larger.
