Indooroopilly Pool Builder — Hilly Lots, Rock Pockets, Builds That Work With the Terrain
Indooroopilly is a builder's puzzle in the best way. Lots can range from 600 to over 1000m², the streets are genuinely hilly (we've quoted on blocks with a 3m drop across the yard), and you'll hit rock somewhere on roughly one in three sites. The trick isn't avoiding the terrain — it's designing around it.
Our most-built designs in Indooroopilly are partial-raise rectangles (Standard 6×3, Family I 6×4) and elevated plunge pools where the upper-yard becomes a viewing platform. Rock pockets get costed honestly upfront — we'll quote a contingency line item rather than spring it on you at week three.
BCC approvals run 2–4 weeks depending on overlay status. A fair number of streets are flagged for tree preservation or character protection — not a deal-breaker, just needs design care.

Plunge and courtyard pools by Wahoo — designed for compact blocks, inner-city lots, and townhouse rear yards across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.
Wahoo's plunge pool packages are the right choice when block size, inner-city access, or townhouse geometry constrains the build. Both packages are full Wahoo specification — not stripped-back "cheap pools." They are complete Wahoo builds at smaller proportions, with the same standard inclusions as our larger packages.

Plunge & Courtyard Pools work best on blocks 300–500m² — inner-city character cottages, modern townhouse rear yards, courtyard infill blocks, and constrained heritage-overlay sites where larger pool packages don't physically fit.

Where these pools fit best
Plunge pools work especially well in Brisbane's inner-east (Bulimba, Bardon, Camp Hill), inner-Redland small blocks, and Gold Coast canal townhouse properties. Most plunge pool builds in our service area can be excavated through standard side-gate access. For genuinely narrow inner-city blocks, our crane-and-skid access method handles excavation where a truck won't fit — the 5×3 size makes this practical.
Customisation and limitations
Both plunge pool packages can be customised with steps, hydrotherapy benches, and integrated heating. Spa upgrades are not available on the smallest two packages — for an integrated 2×2 spa, see our Family Pools or larger.
